Soinualdetan is a festival of sounds and music from different periods in our towns and territories. Music can be heard in different environments; in natural environments, in village festivals and celebrations; music for dance, with the influence of urban and rural dance and modern and ancient rhythms.
In the show the songs of the birds are joined to the sound of the flute, the rhythm marked by the drum and the psaltery, the jumps of the buttons of the accordion with the makilas of the txalaparta, the din of the albokas with the noise of xirolarrus (Basque instrument of the family of the bagpipe), the txistu, the dulzaina, … All of them mix current rhythms and ancient measures and the music of past times with sounds of today.
